Just found a great site that contains 4000 educational games on all different subject areas. They have been made by the public, so make sure you test them out before showing them to your class! You can even make your own or ge your students to make their own on the site to show their understanding on a particular topic, before, during or at the end of a unit of work. You can also set it up so the students in your class can compete against each other in a range of games, as a leaderboard format! The address is www.purposegames.com

The TES is going to start up an Australian Curriculum resources site

For many years the team at TES.co.uk has been managing a great website where teachers from around the world can submit their resources for others to download freely. I have written about this in earlier posts. Now, they are going to create a website which is similar and that links resources submitted to the australian curriculum. They are presently asking for teachers in australia to submit resources to them that can be linked to the australian curriculum. This site will be similar to the american site http://www.sharemylesson.com/.
